In 2019 brothers Tom and Kyle portaged over 200km on a 30-day expedition through the Himalayas to the Mount Everest base camp (and back).
The trek helped The Weight We Carry to raise $150,000 for KOSHISH Nepal to construct a Women’s Mental Health Transit Centre.
This was only the beginning for the growing “The Weight We Carry” community.
We are excited to finally announce that our next major expedition will be across the great Canadian Rocky Mountains.
Tom and Kyle will navigate the rugged and mountainous terrain, you guessed it, while portaging canoes for hundreds of kilometres. The trek will raise awareness and funds for an important mental health charity in Canada.
