With your help The Weight We Carry’s Everest Project raised $150k in donations to KOSHISH Nepal. In the video below you can see the current construction phase of the Women’s Mental Health Centre which is being built with these funds. You will see two large buildings. The larger of the two will be the main building in which the short-term emergency mental health program will operate out of. The second building will be the canteen where a large kitchen will create delicious meals out of using the local produce grown on site in the properties many vegetable gardens. Currently the construction crews are working tirelessly on a retaining wall to ensure that the monsoon season floods do not come up too high and damage the building. As you can see, work has also begun on the interior of the building which is extremely exciting to finally see some finishing touches starting!
